Our story
Connect Care Staffing was founded to solve a persistent gap in the care industry: too often, staff are placed into demanding environments without adequate preparation or support. We chose a different path. From day one, we built a model focused on mentorship, ministry-standard training and trauma-informed care.
Our founders understood that strong, supported staff create stronger outcomes and that’s what we’ve delivered across hospitals, long-term care homes, group homes and youth services throughout Ontario. Our story is one of accountability, compassion and a deep commitment to doing care right.

Lashaunnie Lawson is a dedicated leader with a passion for supporting vulnerable children, youth and families across Ontario. She is highly organized and committed to building strong systems that ensure staff are not only well-trained but also fully supported in their roles. With a focus on trauma-informed practice, cultural responsiveness and compliance with ministry standards, Lashaunnie leads Connect Care Staffing with the belief that confident, prepared staff create safer and more stable environments for those they serve. Her vision is to raise the bar for staffing in child and youth care by combining professional excellence with ongoing training and development.
